It's the building of many colors! This week, the building went from green to gray, just as promised, with the final air and vapor barrier applied. In the week ahead, the building will turn white due to the foam boards that are installed, which will take about a month to complete.
Three of the roof-top HVAC units have been lifted and set in place. One more remains and will be installed with a larger crane due to the wet area around the Commons.
When you take a peek inside, all of the ductwork has been delivered and installation is beginning. Some of the drywall has been installed, and the door frames have been set. The doors will be installed later to avoid damage.
So far, the project continues to be around 3 weeks ahead of schedule!
What's happening next week?
The mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection rough-in will continue. Masonry is slated to begin and will take about 2.5 to 3 weeks to complete. At the end of the month, the windows will be delivered, with installation scheduled for the first week in September.
