Construction Update: October 17, 2025
During the week of October 13–17, crews continued drywall installation, along with mudding and taping throughout the building. Metal coping work on the rooftop was completed, and electricians continued pulling wire. Outside, work began on breaking out and grading the front sidewalks, with sidewalks and door pads near the commons now nearing completion. On October 13, crews also broke through the conference room’s exterior wall. Overall, the project remains approximately three to four weeks ahead of schedule.
Looking ahead to the week of October 20–24, work will continue through Fall Break. On October 20 and 21, crews will break through the conference room’s interior wall and install a temporary partition for protection. Partitions will also be added to the bathrooms to allow for work on the transitions to the commons. Drywall, mudding, and taping will continue, along with grading around the commons. Painting is set to begin, with primer coats applied first and final coats expected to be finished around Thanksgiving. Electrical work will also continue as needed.
