Current 8th graders are welcome to “shadow” (or follow) one of our Griffin Ambassadors for a day. These Shadow Days will be offered throughout the school year, Monday, Wednesday’s and Friday’s. Shadow students will be asked to arrive at school around 8:15 a.m. They will be greeted by their assigned student ambassador and be given a brief tour of the school. The shadow student will follow their ambassador through their class schedule, including lunch and P.E., and participate in activities, just like they were already a Griffin! Their day will end around 3:15 p.m. with a brief meeting with the Admissions Director and/or principal, along with their parents.
We try to best match each shadow student with a similar student ambassador, so that your student will feel most at home at McGivney. We also limit the number of shadow students to no more than 3 per day, so that students may get a good feel for a typical day at Father McGivney Catholic High School.
If you are interested in having your student “Be a Griffin for a Day”, please click the button above, fill out the Shadow Request Form, and we will contact you to schedule your day.
